Welcome to Rivergate's Middle School Classroom.

• Our classroom serves children working on standards & skills within the fifth through eighth grades. 
• Our elementary program is open Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.​

Rivergate supports our students along their educational journey by making sure that each child is prepared for the next stage in learning.  Our multi-grade classrooms allow flexibility in making sure that each child experiences a continued perfect placement. Our upper grades program is perfect for children who have successfully mastered the basic building blocks of reading, writing, and math; are becoming more independent learners; and are thinking critically about who they want to be.

Learning focus      
The goal of the upper grades program is to help students successfully make a smooth transition to high school with academic success and a positive self-image. This goal is met through a four year program of content areas including:

• Math, language arts, science, history, Bible, and study skills development.
  
• Students complete in-depth research projects, write persuasive essays, build algebraic thinking, and work on developing important 21st century skills. 
• Drama, art, and music are integrated thematically across the curriculum and explored in weekly specials classes.
• Students also participate in daily recess and physical education classes.
